The Horn of Africa Medical Equipment and Mobility Aid Diplomacy Foundation, in partnership with the Rotary Club of Footscray and the Australian Light Foundation, is proud to announce the successful completion of our fundraising target for the 21st humanitarian shipment. This achievement will enable the delivery of a 40-foot container of essential medical equipment to Dubti Referral Hospital in the Afar Regional State of Ethiopia.
This milestone is more than a logistical success — it is a testament to the compassion, generosity and shared commitment of everyone who contributed. Your support directly strengthens healthcare services and brings renewed hope to patients, families and dedicated medical staff at Dubti Referral Hospital.
We are especially grateful to the Afar community in Australia, with special recognition to the Afar Community Brisbane in Queensland for their outstanding support, and to Dr Intesar Abbas and her team for their leadership and dedication.
