We are pleased to share that on 27 June 2026, President Jama Farah and Vice President Dr Kamal Abdalla distributed 22 pairs of soccer boots to Yedenekachew Football Club. This donation-in-kind (DIK) was made possible through the support of the Rotary Club of Footscray.
We extend our sincere appreciation to Mr Samson Kebede for coordinating between our Foundation and Yedenekachew Football Club, and to Mr Eyob Esuablew, President of the football club, for his cooperation and support in ensuring a smooth and successful handover.
This contribution reflects our ongoing commitment to supporting young people, strengthening community participation, and encouraging the growth of local sports initiatives. We believe that small acts of generosity can create meaningful opportunities and lasting encouragement for emerging players.
Yedenekachew Football Club has expressed gratitude for this kind donation and for the support shown to its members. The Foundation remains committed to building partnerships that promote dignity, service and positive community impact across the Horn of Africa community and beyond.
